12-hour night shifts, 7 PM to 7:30 AM; every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking both new and experienced Registered Nurses for our dynamic Stepdown/MedSurg Unit. This flexible unit will serve both stepdown and medical-surgical patients based on hospital and patient needs, accommodating a diverse patient population primarily with medical diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to stepdown and medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor and adjust medication infusion rates under nursing orders.
• Collaborate with a team including Clinical Associates and Charge RNs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage patient loads of 6 patients for medical-surgical and 3 patients for stepdown care.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and communication of patient care.
• Engage in patient-focused care while complying with hospital protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
