Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full Time

Schedule

Must be able to start on a Tuesday or Thursday for full shift orientation.

Full-time position, 40 hours per week, with rotating shifts including days and evenings.

Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will perform both direct and indirect resident care within your scope of practice. You will work under the direction of licensed nursing personnel to ensure that residents receive comprehensive and respectful care tailored to their specific needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting needs.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents by promptly answering call lights and maintaining cleanliness.
• Meet residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meal delivery and feeding, while honoring preferences and choices.
• Support residents' rehabilitative needs as outlined in their care plans, including ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Report residents' rights, refusals, and changes in physical, emotional, and psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NY LPN licensure.
• BLS (AHA or RQI only) certification.
• At least 1 year of experience as an LPN, preferably in Long-Term Care (LTC) or related capacity.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
