Adolescent Mental Health Nurse

Schedule

Evenings - 8 hour shifts, 32-40 hours per week, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

Join our team as an Adolescent Mental Health Nurse, providing critical care in an acute inpatient hospital setting for child and adolescent units. You will be essential in supporting young patients aged 5 through geriatric, addressing mental health and behavioral disorders as well as substance abuse and addictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adolescent patients in an inpatient setting.
• Assess and document patient conditions and progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting.
• Current nursing license valid in the state of practice.
