Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-risk perinatal care in a Level III facility. This position involves working in a maternity services environment with comprehensive support for labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in labor, with a goal of a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Assist with prenatal assessments and interventions, including antepartum care.
• Monitor and manage postpartum care with a target of a 1:3 couplet ratio.
• Participate in triage, ensuring safe and efficient patient flow.
• Support CNAs in providing care in the postpartum unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring certification required.
• Experience in facilities with 200+ deliveries preferred; candidates with 100-200 deliveries will be considered.
• Active RN license (Washington or Compact RN).
