Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves providing quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring adherence to their care plans, and conducting assessments to aid in their recovery. The ideal candidate will have experience in home health care and the ability to work independently while managing their schedule effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' medical and psychological needs.
• Administer medications and provide wound care and other nursing interventions.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and timely using electronic charting systems.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and self-care techniques.
• Ensure safety and injury prevention for patients and oneself during care.
• Evaluate patient conditions and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and company policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a home health setting.
• Current Florida RN license or a compact license.
• BLS certification required.
• OASIS training preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
• COVID-19 vaccination or exemption form on file; flu shot or declination required.
