Occupational Therapist - Acute Rehab Unit

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (08:00 - 17:30), with 3-4 weekend dates required.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy services within an Acute Rehabilitation unit. This role emphasizes work with ICU patients and requires a strong background in acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for patients in acute rehab.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize adaptive equipment and techniques to enhance patient recovery.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding care and home exercises.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for cohesive patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience is required.
• Experience with electronic charting systems, specifically Epic, is mandatory.
• Current Oregon CNA license is required at time of submission.
• ICU experience is strongly preferred.
