Occupational Therapist - Acute Rehab Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule (08:00 AM - 05:30 PM) with some weekend coverage required.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will work within an acute rehabilitation unit, providing essential therapy services to patients recovering from critical health events. Candidates with ICU experience are strongly preferred to manage the complex care needs of our patient population.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Monitor and document patients' progress using Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Experience in an acute rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Current Oregon CNA license must be in hand at the time of submission.
• Epic charting experience is a hard stop requirement.
