Nuclear Medicine Technologist - 13-Week Contract

Day Shift: 8-hour shifts - scheduled 40 hours weekly following the first week of orientation.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for conducting various imaging procedures and preparing radiopharmaceuticals under strict safety regulations. This role demands a competent professional with experience in general nuclear medicine imaging, EKG prep and monitoring for cardiac exams, and quality control of imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures.
• Conduct camera quality control and general nuclear medicine imaging.
• Monitor and prepare EKGs for cardiac evaluations.
• Receive and accurately document radioactive shipments.
• Perform daily and weekly quality control as mandated by NRC.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine.
• Must possess a valid ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Candidates must have an active State of Hawaii license by the start of the assignment.
