Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is critical in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role focuses on tele-monitoring patients' vitals and delivering exceptional nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions through telemetry.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery strategies.
• Document all pertinent patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Provide support and care to patients and families during challenging situations.

Schedule

This position requires a 3x12-hour rotation schedule, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Additionally, travelers must be available to work at least every other holiday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Previous charge experience preferred, but not required.
