Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day and Night shifts available, 3x12 hours rotating between 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse with a strong background in patient care and telemetry monitoring. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence and provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' telemetry readings and vitals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document care provided in electronic medical records accurately and timely.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Must hold an active Ohio Nursing License or Compact State License.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Permissible background check with no open cases.
• All certifications must be active at the time of application.
