Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts: 3x12-hour (Days: 07:00 - 19:30; Nights: 19:00 - 07:30). Shifts may vary based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a busy hospital environment. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients, interpreting ECG rhythms, and administering medications as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and ensure proper documentation.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on care processes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Two attempts maximum at ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.
