Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:30 - 17:00), blocked Monday through Friday. Rotating nights call requirement.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform various nuclear imaging procedures including but not limited to gastric emptying, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, and bone scans. The role involves the operation of imaging equipment, patient care, and interaction with medical staff to ensure high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and evaluate nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and maintain strict adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain records as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to interpret results and develop treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nuclear medicine.
• ARRT N and CNMT certifications are required.
• Experience with Siemens equipment and nuclear cardiology procedures is preferred.
• Charge experience and trauma level experience is a plus.
