Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekend requirements.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units. The RN ensures quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards. The RN demonstrates performance that aligns with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a safe and efficient manner.
• Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of healthcare services.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams regarding care plans and treatment outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and care processes as per healthcare regulations and standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in compliance with infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• TNCC or ATCN certification required; CPI or equivalent preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population served are essential.
