MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3/12's with a requirement to work 6 weekend shifts over a 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process, in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The RN will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership while anticipating and planning for safe care delivery. This position involves maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and supervising personnel involved in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive care to patients in a telemetry setting
• Utilizing critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient assessments
• Supervising and directing nursing personnel delivering patient care
• Maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education and training
• Floating between departments and various facilities as required

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold an active Arizona RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry setting
• Experience with Cerner EMR is mandatory
