MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing comprehensive care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning the safe delivery of care, while maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established nursing standards.
• Utilize critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient assessment and care planning.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Schedule

This is a night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week, with a requirement to work six weekends in a six-week schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Currently holds an Arizona RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is mandatory.
