Schedule

Night shift: 19:00 - 07:00, with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours and 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care to adult and geriatric patients in a telemetry setting. This role requires the ability to handle a patient ratio of 1:6 and to float to other units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on the medical/surgical telemetry unit.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license
• ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience, with telemetry experience required
• Experience with preceptor and charge nurse duties is a plus
