Job Description

Join our dynamic Emergency Department team that oversees a comprehensive range of patient care from newborns to geriatrics. The department consists of 64 beds, with capabilities including Triage, Acute, Trauma, and a Super Track area. You will encounter various patient diagnoses such as Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction (MI), Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure. The role may require floating between units as necessary and involves high charge capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Utilize specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
• Participate in the assessment and treatment of a diverse patient population.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of emergency department experience, with pediatric exposure.
• Valid Nursing Licensure with active NY License and all RN licenses.
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• EMR experience with EPIC is required.
• Skills checklist matching specialty is necessary.
• Driver’s license with verification of address matching demographics.
