Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team, focusing on the NICU and PICU. In this role, you will provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and evaluation for patients in the NICU and PICU.
• Utilize advanced equipment including High Flow Devices, Continuous Nebulizers, and Nitric Oxide.
• Document patient information accurately using the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Float to adult floors when needed to provide nebulizer therapy and other respiratory treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) certification.
• BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital experience.
• Previous Meditech experience is preferred.
• Experience in NICU/PICU is highly preferred.
