Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, including conditions such as asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema. The successful candidate will work closely with a close-knit team in a high-paced environment, utilizing critical thinking and a collaborative approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and evaluation for patients with respiratory health issues.
• Utilize equipment such as Servo I ventilators, nebulizers, and CPAP/BIPAP machines.
• Perform approximately 44-46 procedures per shift.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of current acute care hospital Respiratory Therapy experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
• Trauma experience is a strong advantage.
