Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role involves utilizing various equipment to support patient care effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct respiratory procedures for patients with diverse respiratory issues.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure quality patient care.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Utilize equipment such as Servo I ventilators, nebulizers, and CPAP machines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Preferred candidates will have trauma experience and familiarity with Meditech EMR.
