Day Shift - 4x10 Hours (07:30 - 18:00), Monday to Friday

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for patient evaluation, development, and follow-through of treatment plans to support the mission of the organization. This position requires specialized experience in outpatient hand therapy, including post-operative hand surgeries and splinting. A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Manage care for patients recovering from hand surgeries.
• Provide education to patients on hand therapy and recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Education: BS, MS, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy; NBCOT certification required.
• Clinical experience in hand therapy and post-operative care is essential.
• Valid Oregon OT license or eligibility to obtain one; BLS certification from the AHA required within 90 days of hire.
• Epic Charting experience is a hard stop requirement.
