Medical PCU Registered Nurse

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed. Weekend and holiday work required as per facility guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Medical PCU Registered Nurses who are dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Progressive Care Unit nursing and be flexible with locations, shifts, and departments for assignment opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Active nursing license to practice without any hits.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from an approved provider.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
