Medical-Surgical RN Float Pool

Day shift, 12 hours, 3 days per week.

Job Description

This position is for a Medical-Surgical RN in a float pool, where the nurse will float to all medical-surgical areas as needed. Candidates must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications and have experience using EPIC software.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a diverse patient population in various medical-surgical units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately and timely.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality standards of practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical-surgical specialty.
• Active RN license and certification verification through Nursys.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• EPIC software proficiency is mandatory.
