Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

Schedule

Day shift; 12-hour shifts, with rotation every three days.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing, with a focus on general and overflow oncology care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting.
• Manage medication administration and treatment plans.
• Monitor and assess patient health status and report changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and tracking.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Current RN license verified through Nursys.
• Certification in BLS and other relevant nursing certifications.
• Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Skills checklist and professional references required.
