Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shifts: 7 PM to 7 AM. Options for 36 or 48 hours per week, including one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Telemetry Unit with 37 beds, providing complex care. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and be flexible according to the facility's needs. Charge experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications as needed.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Be willing to float to other units when necessary.
• Participate in charge nurse responsibilities if needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of recent acute hospital experience, with at least 1 year in a Med/Surg or Telemetry role.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.
