Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Stroke and Telemetry Unit. This role involves providing high-quality patient care while adhering to established protocols and standards. Nurses will be responsible for floating to other units as needed and may occasionally take on charge nurse responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 34-bed unit.
• Administer medication and monitor patients' vital signs and health status.
• Implement patient care plans based on individual needs.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to other nursing units as required based on staffing needs.
• Take on charge nurse duties when assigned, leading nursing staff and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required.
• Previous experience in telemetry or stroke care is preferred.
