Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift, 4x10-Hour schedule (06:30 - 17:00). Must be open to working 3 out of 5 major holidays and potentially exceeding weekend shifts to meet unit needs.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Interventional Radiology department is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care before, during, and after interventional procedures. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interventional procedures and maintain a sterile field.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage comfort throughout procedures.
• Administer medications and assist with patient education.
• Document patient information and charting accurately in required systems.
• Utilize specialized skills for various procedures, including but not limited to Adrenal Angiography, Angioplasty, and Renal Angiography.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant specialty.
• Current RN license (Compact license required).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Experience with charting systems is mandatory.
