MRI Technologist

Schedule

This position requires a full-time commitment with a night shift schedule of 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts per week.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety while obtaining high-quality diagnostic images. The role involves working within a Level 1 trauma hospital environment and being available for weekend and holiday shifts, including Christmas.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and prepare patients for imaging procedures.
• Utilize Siemens 1.5T or 3T (Aera/Sola/Skyra/Vida) and Philips MRI equipment.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain MRI equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to provide quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital.
• Experience operating Siemens 1.5T or 3T (Aera/Sola/Skyra/Vida) and Philips MRI machines.
• Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
• BLS certification from AHA is required.
