MRI Technologist Contract Position

Schedule

This position requires 3 twelve-hour shifts, either from 06:00 to 18:30 or 08:00 to 20:30 during weekdays, with weekend shifts from 06:00 to 18:30 and on-call availability until 21:00.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing MRI scans, ensuring patient safety, and preparing patients for MRI procedures. This role involves collaboration with healthcare team members and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures on patients of all ages, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Administer contrast media as needed, following protocols for patient safety.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Document patient scans and maintain accurate records in the Cerner charting system.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active ARRT certification in MR and Radiography.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant MRI experience.
• Current licensure in the state of Pennsylvania or a compact license.
• Familiarity with the Cerner charting system is preferred.
