7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week, including 2 weekends.

Job Description

A registered nurse in Med/Surg is expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their family members. This includes performing bedside shift reports, making personal connections, and involving patients and families in their plans of care.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for up to 34 patients with a ratio of 6:1.
• Prioritize care and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Start IVs and provide basic wound care.
• Maintain surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
• Utilize a variety of medical equipment including IV pumps and telemetry systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Med/Surg experience is preferred.
