Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg unit. You will provide attentive care to a diverse patient population, ensuring their comfort and involvement in their care plans. The ideal candidate should have experience in a Med/Surg setting and be prepared to collaborate closely with team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg unit.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Perform basic wound care and maintain surgical drains.
• Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and families.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Ability to start IVs and manage various medical equipment
