7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week with 2 weekends required.

Job Description

The Med Surg/Neuro Unit is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care. The unit consists of 20 beds with a patient ratio of 6:1. Nurses are expected to provide attentive care to patients and their families, including bedside shift reports and involvement in care plans.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and multitask to deliver quality patient care.
• Start IVs, provide basic wound care, and manage surgical drains and tubes.
• Utilize equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, and PCA.
• Document patient care in Meditech.
• Support patient experience initiatives by forming personal connections.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Med/Surg experience is required.
