Registered Nurse - Stepdown Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour shifts (Day: 07:00 - 19:30; Night: 19:00 - 07:30). D/N rotating shift may be required based on operational needs.

Job Description

Join a dedicated healthcare team in a Stepdown unit, providing high-quality patient care. You will have the potential to float to different units and will play an essential role in delivering continuous nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a progressive care setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting any changes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess at least 12 months of permanent nursing experience in a related specialty.
• Current Ohio RN license or Compact State License in hand at the time of submission required.
• Certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required.
