Job Description

The Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for our patients. This unit is dedicated to cardiac progressive care, and the ideal candidate will have experience in handling PCU and ICU-level cases. We focus on a flexible and positive work culture, providing ample support and resources for our staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in the progressive cardiac care setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide wound care and perform procedures such as Foley and NGT insertions.
• Utilize medical equipment including VS machines, EKG, bladder scanning, and continuous pulse oximetry.
• Document patient care activities accurately using Meditech EMR.
• Participate in training and upskilling opportunities for staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience in ICU or PCU-level care is essential.
• Precepting experience is preferred.
• PCCN, TNCC, and TCAR certifications are a plus.
