Registered Nurse - Med/Surg and Intermediate Care

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30) with 36 or 48 hour options available.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our unit specializing in a mixture of Med/Surg and Intermediate Care patients. The role requires a compassionate caregiver dedicated to providing high-quality patient care within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
• Monitor patients' conditions and interpret telemetry data.
• Administer medications and manage IVs, including titration of drips.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and isolation precautions.
• Assist with emergency response as necessary, including rapid response and code situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a related field.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is a plus.
• Must comply with the 50-mile radius rule - no local candidates will be accepted.
