Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week, with weekends discussed during the interview.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with acute conditions requiring advanced monitoring and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and responsiveness.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Meditech system.
• Conduct hourly safety rounding and provide bedside shift reports.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of PCU or ICU experience.
• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
