Job Description

Join our expanding team in a unique adult medical/surgical unit that caters to patients with active co-morbid psychiatric and behavioral issues. We are looking for flexible, enthusiastic, and committed nurses to help us grow and provide exceptional care in a dynamic environment. Our nurses are eligible for dual-certification in both medical/surgical nursing and psychiatric nursing upon fulfilling experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical/surgical and psychiatric needs.
• Monitor patients' condition and vital signs, administering medications as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Adapt to a variety of patient populations and changing environments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Experience in psychology and telemetry is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
