Behavioral Health Nurse - Nights

Schedule

Nights - 8HR shift, with weekends and holidays as assigned, from 10 PM to 6 AM.

Job Description

Join a beautiful brand new behavioral health facility that provides care for adults through geriatric and adolescent patients. This acute inpatient hospital specializes in mental health and behavioral disorders, as well as substance abuse and addictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with mental health and behavioral disorders.
• Manage patient restraints, using previous experience to maintain safety and compliance.
• Demonstrate knowledge of de-escalation techniques during patient interaction.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately, using Epic and paper charting for restraint.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania at the time of submission.
• 1 year of recent experience in behavioral health or psych nursing required.
• Experience with patient restraints is necessary.
