Variable shift depending on needs. Will include weekend hours and occasional back-up call requirements.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of patient conditions. This role may require travel to Sanford if exams are ordered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations as per physician orders.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Maintain high standards of care and professionalism.
• Document and report results accurately in the EMR system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Current ARDMS certification required.
• Completion of THINKIFIC education modules specific to ultrasound.
