Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30). Requires availability for every other Friday and Monday.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with experience in NICU/PICU to provide respiratory care for patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy to patients in the NICU and PICU settings.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting therapeutic interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment, including ventilators and non-invasive support.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding respiratory health.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of work experience in a related specialty (NICU/PICU).
• Valid state license (Ohio) is required at the time of submission.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
