Registered Respiratory Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12 Hour (19:00 - 07:00), required weekends every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will float between units, providing essential respiratory therapy services, including floor care, emergency room assistance, and code response.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including aerosol therapy and mechanical ventilation.
• Perform and interpret arterial blood gas analyses.
• Provide emergency interventions, including intubation and extubation.
• Participate in rapid response teams and assist in code situations.
• Document care and treatment in electronic medical records using the Epic system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist license in hand.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Experience with pediatrics and trauma care is a plus.

Location

Location is undisclosed; must be willing to float between nearby facilities as required.
