Seasonal RN - Labor and Delivery - 13 Weeks

This is a 13-week contract position with shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM. No on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor and Delivery unit, a Level 4 designated maternal center specializing in the care of complex maternal patients. The unit features 22 beds, including 16 labor beds, and is supported by a skilled team of approximately 100 staff members, including RNs and support personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for high-risk maternal patients.
• Assist with a range of procedures, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placements and removals, D&C, and PASD cases.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a fast-paced environment with the ability to change directions quickly as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Experience with high-risk maternal patients.
• Experience in circulating operating room and triage preferred.
