Seasonal Contract RN - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, rotating weekends with no call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a seasonal contract position in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maternal healthcare and the ability to provide high-quality care to patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum phases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in labor and delivery.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families throughout the childbirth process.
• Assist with C-sections and other procedures as needed.
• Utilize various equipment including Novii, JADA, and fetal monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid RN license.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery with 2+ years of nursing experience required.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE.
• Competency in EFM and C-section circulation is essential.
• Preferred: Internal monitor placement competency and experience in a Level IV unit.
