Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team at the Pacific Campus, specializing in high-risk perinatal care. The facility offers comprehensive maternity services including a Level II NICU. This role requires a strong background in labor and delivery nursing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring and delivering patients.
• Assist with postpartum care and triage.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs and surgical techs.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage high-risk conditions.
• Perform sterile vaginal examinations and assist with deliveries.
• Educate and support patients and families during the labor and delivery process.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Valid RN license and compact license required.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring.
• Experience in facilities with 200+ deliveries preferred; however, candidates with 100-200 deliveries experience may be considered.
