Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract. The position requires working night shifts, with a focus on triage and critical care. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in an Emergency Department setting.

Responsibilities

• Triage and care for patients with a variety of emergency conditions.
• Manage critically ill patients and administer emergency medications.
• Perform necessary procedures including IV starts, arterial line management, and intubation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting in Cerner.
• Monitor and assess patient progress throughout their treatment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current WV RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of experience; 5 years preferred in Emergency Department settings.
• Experience in a small Emergency Department is a plus.
• Travel experience is required.
