Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

The role of the Registered Nurse will involve providing care for patients in a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient health, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care and monitoring vital signs.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records.
• Educating patients and families on health management and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
• MUST have an active Permanent Ohio or Compact state nursing license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred.
• One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty required.
