Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services to patients requiring emergency care, intensive care, therapeutic treatment, invasive and non-invasive monitoring, diagnostic testing, and patient education for pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders. This role includes monitoring and maintaining respiratory equipment, as well as participating in quality assurance and improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care services to diverse patient populations.
• Perform diagnostic testing and maintain accurate patient records.
• Monitor vital signs and respiratory equipment functioning.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatments.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Required
• Travel experience - Preferred
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), NBRC
• State License: Michigan

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
