Schedule
This position requires a NOC shift from 19:00 to 07:30, with three 12-hour shifts per week for a total of 36 hours.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Job Description
The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in various Intensive Care Units, step-down units, Intermediate Care Units (IMCU), and the Emergency Department (ED) for ICU holds/borders. The RN will float as needed and will be expected to adapt to the unique needs of each unit while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician.
- Utilize the nursing process to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to individualize patient care.
- Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to nursing practice standards.
- Manage patient assignments, with a ratio not exceeding 1:3 when assigned to any unit.
- Be available to float mid-shift to different units as necessary based on patient needs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an ICU setting (No new grads).
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License (Required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (Required).
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (Required).
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (Preferred).
