Travel ICU Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

The Travel ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit. The role requires floating to Telemetry as needed and managing a patient ratio of 2:1, with a surge capacity plan of 3:1. Candidates should have experience with Open Heart Surgery and Impella, as well as proficiency in Cerner EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to Telemetry as required by patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Open Heart surgery experience preferred.
• Impella experience preferred.
