Job Description

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting patient safety and employee safety. You will be expected to complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans that progress patients towards discharge within established timelines. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to address barriers to discharge is essential, as is effective management of treatment sessions based on patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate discharge planning.
• Manage multiple treatment sessions effectively including individual, concurrent, and group treatments.
• Complete accurate medical record documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in the student program by providing supervision and feedback.
• Engage in professional development through continuing education and active participation in professional activities.
• Adhere to the State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality of services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid and current State license as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• Previous inpatient rehab experience preferred.
